Welcome to Focus Pocus – my little corner of the internet where I can share random photography-related thoughts that wouldn’t fit in with the other blog on my website which is where I share a wider look into wedding days! Expect some discussion around photo techniques and approach but the main purpose of this blog will be to be a place where I pull back the curtain and share the stories, laughs, and sometimes pure magic behind some of my favourite images I’ve captured over the years as a wedding photographer in Derbyshire and beyond.

One of my favourite things about a wedding day is calling my wife as I drive home and excitedly tell her about all the cool moments I captured and the little stories from throughout the day. And so I thought why not do the same right here on my very own website!?
