Nia and Mike's beautiful wedding ceremony took place at their charming local church, a place brimming with history and love, which added a profound sense of intimacy and reverence to the occasion. The ceremony was heartfelt, filled with personal vows and touching moments that their son was also able to be a part of which was lovely to see.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued with a fabulous evening reception at The Orangery Ingestre. This venue is nothing short of spectacular. Nestled in the heart of Staffordshire, The Orangery boasts stunning architecture and breathtaking gardens that truly provided the perfect backdrop for this joyous occasion. The lush greenery and vibrant flowers created an idyllic setting for some gorgeous couples portraits. We spent a delightful 15 minutes or so wandering through the gardens, capturing candid and relaxed moments that reflected Nia and Mike's genuine love and happiness. Before the guests arrived, it was so lovely to see Nia and Mike share a few quiet moments together. These intimate instances are often the most precious, allowing the couple to connect and savor the significance of their day amidst the excitement and anticipation. From a wedding photography standpoint I always try to ‘back off’ a little in these moments with minimal prompting.
The Orangery at Ingestre is truly a magical place for a wedding reception. The elegant, naturally lit interiors, coupled with the serene outdoor spaces, created an enchanting atmosphere that was perfect for celebrating Nia and Mike's union. The evening was filled with laughter, love, and plenty of dancing, making it a night to remember.
As a Staffordshire wedding photographer, I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to capture such special moments for Nia and Mike.
