The Great Tythe Barn Tetbury Cotswolds Wedding Photographer
Debbie and Steve's wedding at The Great Tythe Barn in Tetbury was an unforgettable celebration, marked by an exceptionally hot day that added a vibrant summer glow to the festivities (and sunburn to my forehead!). Early in the morning, as I took a leisurely walk around the area, I stumbled upon a picturesque wheat field nearby and later in the evening, as the sun began to set and the light softened to a perfect golden hue, we ventured out to the field and captured some truly breathtaking shots that highlighted the beauty of the day.
As a wedding photographer based in Derbyshire, I have the pleasure of traveling to various venues across the UK, each offering its own unique charm and character. The Great Tythe Barn in Tetbury is a particularly enchanting location, with its rustic elegance and beautiful surroundings. The outdoor ceremony was a highlight, with the natural beauty of the venue providing a perfect setting for Debbie and Steve's vows. Their sons played significant roles in the ceremony, adding a deeply personal and touching element to the event. Watching their family come together in such a meaningful way was a beautiful sight to behold and a privilege to document.
The reception was filled with laughter and joy, and the dance floor was no exception. From the youngest guests to the oldest, everyone was eager to show off their best moves, creating a lively and exuberant atmosphere. Capturing these fun, spontaneous moments is one of the aspects I love most about wedding photography. There is something magical about documenting the genuine emotions and interactions that make each wedding unique.
Though I love the opportunity to capture epic couple’s portraits my real focus is those candid and relaxed moments, ensuring that each couple's special day is recorded in a way that truly reflects their personality and story of the day. The combination of a beautiful venue, a loving couple, and joyful guests makes for an unforgettable experience, both for the couple and for me as their photographer!
